I have a pal who is much older than she appears.  Considering that I know that she generally takes very good care of herself by eating nicely and exercising (wonderful skin and what a match body!), I once asked her if there was one factor she did that she felt contributed the most to her youthful look and she replied I try to sleep extended enough every night so that I wake up naturally.  (I had hoped to get the name of some new incredible beauty therapy).

Theres lots of new analysis out there attempting to completely recognize the effect that disturbed sleep has on wellness.  Even though, those of us who have had a newborn infant in the house KNOW with out the science what sleep deprivation does to youOH BOY!

But seriously, there are a lot more and far more indicators of the association amongst lack of sleep and a lot of of the big killers.

Lack of sleep seems to improve the production of pressure hormones and drives up blood stress, a major risk factor for heart attacks and strokes. Additionally, men and women who are sleep-deprived have larger levels of chemicals in the blood which indicate a heightened state of inflammation in the physique, a risk factor for heart disease, stroke, cancer and diabetes (huge killers). That explains the popularity of the midnight snack!

Back to my friends concept of sleeping till you wake up naturally.  Last summer, I decided to attempt it for a couple of weeks (with the alarm set as backup in case I slept As well late).  To do this, I had to go to bed a bit earlier.  You know what happened?  Except for the one night I stayed up as well late with my girlfriends and woke up too early, I slept among seven and eight hours.  I felt fantastic and looked rested.  Far more importantly, I became far more tuned into my own bodys sleep requirements.  Good lesson.
