The preeminent show of the 1990's decade, Seinfeld grew from a concept of "a show about nothing" into a sacred pop culture icon - not that there is any such thing wrong with that... The show follows the life span of comic Jerry Seinfeld and the uses of his short, cool, bald person companion, George Costanza (Jason Alexander), Jerrys neurotic neighbor Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards), and Jerrys ex-girlfriend Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). Through the years, theyre joined with a loveable cast of characters that includes Newman, Uncle Leo, the Soup Nazi, Frank and Estelle Costanza, the Bubble Boy, and numerous others

The very first glimpse is offered by the Seinfeld DVD ( Seasons 1 & 2 ) to the world Jerry, you start with The Pilot (episode 1) that has been originally titled The Seinfeld Chronicles. The first scene requires Jerry commenting to George about a button on his shirt (the same dialogue later happens in the last scene of the series end). These starting episodes give insight to the growth of the shows four main characters with discussions that range from Georges initial admission that hed like to be a builder (episode 2) to Kramers tendency for get rich quick schemes like a pizzeria (episode 4). From as must see TV, producing such unique periods as The Pony Remark, The Stock Tip, The Deal, and The Chinese Restaurant day one, Seinfeld established itself.

Apparently, in the pilot bout of Seinfeld, Elaines character doesn't yet exist, and Kramers character (not yet named Kramer, but Feldman) is more of an unemployed, slow, shut-in friend than the usual cool and dynamic Cosmo. Playing the role of the female in George and Jerrys life is just a wisecracking waiter named Claire (Lee Garlington) who never appears in later periods.

None the less, this initial episode demonstrates the flashes of beauty that made Seinfeld a social phenomenon. The show is actually about nothing. Jerry and George do some laundry Jerry and his friend watch some TV George and Jerry have some coffee During that time, the principal topic of conversation is really a girl that Jerry met while using his comedy act on your way. Shes visiting keep at his place, but he doesnt know whether he should take out a mattress on her or not. Feldman (Kramer), George, and Jerry debate the subject constantly before the woman arrives and Jerry discovers that its all unnecessary because shes engaged
