Bake v. baked, bak·ing, bakes v. tr.

  1. To cook (food) with dry heat, especially in an oven.
  2. To harden or dry (something) by subjecting to heat in or as if in an oven: bake bricks.
  3. Used in place of "burn" related to music: I'm going home to bake my CD's to my computer, or Wow, I have too many CD's in my car, I better bake some MP3 CD's to save space in my CD visor.
