In line with the American Lung Association (ALA), 42.3 million Americans are afflicted by asthma and/or hay temperature, typically triggered by allergies or airborne allergens such as pet dander, mold, pollen and dust mites. As a result, it's important to do everything possible to boost the air we breathe inside our houses, ventilation and cleanliness being two major factors that affect indoor air quality.

In line with the Carpet & Rug Institute (CRI), high-performance floor cleaners have a significant effect on improved indoor air quality. Vacuum cleaners also play an important role in living of your carpet, with particular cleaners eliminating and containing land better than the others, helping the carpet keep going longer. CRI realizes these vacuums having its Green Label Testing Program.

The Green Label Testing Program centers on three important performance factors. First, cleaners must eliminate a group level of earth from rug in four passes. Second, and perhaps most critical to indoor quality of air, is the vacuum's ability to contain dirt. Vacuums must not generate more than 100 micrograms of dust particles per cubic meter of air, considering dust released by the wash moves and through the purification case. Last but most certainly not least, the CRI tests the carpet appearance preservation, as cleaners should minimally influence the appearance of a carpet within the span of a year.

Central vacuum systems get dirt, dirt and allergens without stirring up microscopic particles and re-emitting them in to interior spaces. "Central vacuums are as much as five times more powerful than regular portable vacuums and do not recirculate any particles back to the home," states Christian Reick-Mitrisin of Nutone.

NuTone Central Vacuum Systems are Green Label-certified and include High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters, meaning dust and bacteria are contained much better than ever before. Two different systems are available-bagged and cyclonic types. The cyclonic type contains an easy-to-clean filter, which may be easily reached through the door panel.

The packaged version offers the easy-on/easy-off snap-release case change mechanism that closes the opening straight away upon removal, so what goes in remains in.

"NuTone Central Vacuum Systems are constructed of lightweight polymer built to avoid rust and dents," says Reick-Mitrisin. "The vacuum bins provide peaceful washing since the power units contain an inside sound suppression system and are normally located in the storage, basement or utility room and maybe not in the general living area." carpet cleaners clapham
