In line with the American Lung Association (ALA), 42.3 million Americans are afflicted by asthma and/or hay temperature, typically triggered by allergies or airborne allergens such as pet dander, mold, pollen and dust mites. The Green Label Testing Program centers on three important performance factors. First, cleaners must eliminate a group level of earth from rug in four passes. Second, and perhaps most critical to indoor quality of air, is the vacuum's ability to contain dirt. Vacuums must not generate more than 100 micrograms of dust particles per cubic meter of air, considering dust released by the wash moves and through the purification case. Last but most certainly not least, the CRI tests the carpet appearance preservation, as cleaners should minimally influence the appearance of a carpet within the span of a year.
