The diet that worked for me

I've had plenty of issues and problems with my weight. It has had a significant impact on my entire life, my confidence was knocked by it and I'd an over-all low self-esteem.

A couple of years ago I chose to do something about it, to attempt to lose some of my body fat. I had heard of numerous forms of diet nearly all of which I felt were not ideal for me and also sounded disgusting.

I decided on self-help, carrying it out my way. I knew that exercise will have to be described as a factor, however was not ready to join a fitness center. Gyms look full of individuals who are already thin! I started to go far more in place of operating every-where, and started to play tennis again, although I must acknowledge am pretty waste it. I am not exactly the absolute most athletic person and this generally was all the exercise I did.

The key reason I was heavy was as a result of my poor diet. I prefer to eat the types of food you're told never to. I enjoy pizzas, a, chips, nuts and especially alcohol. A lot of people I knew would tell me to cut fully out many of these from my diet completely- get real! Sorry, thats not possible, I love them too much.

I thought about how to proceed and decided that I'd begin to take note of every thing I ate. I'd eat a healthy breakfast and then would do not eat until lunch. I'm a person who wants to snack, eating crisps and chocolate especially. I knew that not to eat anything until meal will be hard but I'd an idea. When I felt hungry or a wish to have food I would eat a mint or if at home would clean my teeth. Sounds crazy nonetheless it worked for me! I'd also maybe not eat between lunch and my dinner. The night meal would include anything I desired including chips and would be my biggest meal of the day. On the week-end I'd often treat myself to a takeaway and would allow some alcohol to myself.

This type of diet needs a large amount of discipline and character, however you don't have to do that much exercise or cut any type of food from your own diet.
