Real Magic: Beyond Harry Potter
Harry Potter has been throughout the media these days, as a result of launch of the 7th Harry Potter book and the 5th Harry Potter film. It's no accident that the 5th video "Order of the Phoenix" arrived on the scene weekly prior to the 7th book "Deathly Hallows."
It seems to possess been such a great success, and spent some time working all of the Harry Potter fans in to a frenzy!
There's a lot of controversy from fundamentalist Christian groups around the proven fact that these books & films increase sorcery and witchcraft.
Unfortuitously, in my opinion, the Harry Potter series does not very nearly do justice to selling sorcery and witchcraft. It is after-all fiction, and the aspects of using secret are highly over-dramatized set alongside the outcomes of REAL witchcraft and sorcery.
But, the problems are founded, as much of those Harry Potter fans will and probably are seeking out the true types of magic use. I believe this is a fantastic thing, as much of the fear of witchcraft is based on prejudice, and perhaps not the reality of what it really is.
Current day REAL witches and Sorcerers are people who generally embrace multiculturalism and seek to learn answers for their spiritual questions where-ever answers can be found. There are also plenty of Modern spiritualists to master from that are experienced in witchcraft, yoga, meditation, and therapy nowadays.
There's also a growing trend outside of the Harry Potter movement that's cluing into what is called the "Law of Attraction." That "Law of Attraction" executed properly and when comprehended, is definitely a kind of magic within my books.
