Real Magic: Beyond Harry Potter
Harry Potter has been throughout the media these days, due to the start of the 7th Harry Potter book and the 5th Harry Potter movie. It is certainly no accident that the 5th video "Order of the Phoenix" arrived on the scene a week prior to the 7th book "Deathly Hallows."
It seems to have been such a great success, and did all of the Harry Potter fans into a frenzy!
There's even a large amount of conflict from fundamentalist Christian groups round the proven fact that these books & shows increase witchcraft and sorcery.
However, I think, the Harry Potter series doesn't very nearly do justice to promoting witchcraft and sorcery. It's after-all fiction, and the aspects of using magic are highly over-dramatized compared to the link between REAL witchcraft and sorcery.
However, the concerns are founded, as numerous of these Harry Potter fans may and probably are seeking out the true forms of magic use. I believe this is an excellent thing, just as much of driving a car of witchcraft is based on ignorance, and perhaps not the reality of just what it is.
