It could very easily be described as 1 of the greatest Barbados boutique hotels, and you could nicely find it on the greatest of Barbados 2006 list of hotels.
On approaching the hotel the colourfully painted Bajan styled cottages are on the appropriate hand side, but you truly dont notice them because they are effectively camouflaged by the tropical vegetation that surrounds them.
If you search to the left you will see the hotels waterside bar and restaurant known as the Fish Pot. It would be fair to say it looks as it is, a classy restaurant, which boasts excellent service and food, accompanied by the sound of the sea crashing onto the beach under.
Just before I wax as well lyrical, I have to admit, that the Tiny Excellent Harbour is my concept of paradise, it is in an idyllic location, and in several approaches is a throw back to Barbados the way it employed to be 20 years ago.
My tips if you want to stay at Little Good Harbour, so eloquently described as a cluster of cottages about a swimming pool , is to attempt to get a single of the sophisticated and comfortable rooms on the beach side of the road.
From the balcony of your suite, you can watch the fishermen under - a reminder of a bygone era to match the colonial decor of your space. You select no matter whether to frolic on the beach or by the pool, but the true social scene happens at the Fish Pot, where absolutely everyone comes to sample the fabulous dishes.
