The Three Stooges: Final Banned Episode
Larry, Curly, and Mo had always been hilarious with their Vaudeville style slapstick comedy, but they also had an extremely dark side. After numerous episodes the trio began to take different routes in their lives. After a long day of filming Larry would go to his trailer and find peace in doing hours of yoga until the next days shooting. Realizing that his life had been a waste Curly would go home and cry on his huge pillow. The darkest one of them became Mo. Mo had always been sadistic in the ways of comedy always beating his fellow mates on and off camera. Sometimes he would go so far as to beat them with his billyclubs and blackjacks until they would scream uncle. As time went on they realized it was time to end their long reign of being the number one comedy trio in the business. The final episode was shot on Friday August the 13 of 1959. On the morning of the 13 Curly compromised the shooting when he told Larry that he was gay and in love with him. Larry almost left the shoot right away, but the soon to be 4th stooge, Shemp, helped calm Larry down. Mo had been running late the past couple of days and this was to be like all the rest. He had been going to his new organization known only as, "MTLA", which we now all know means "Men That Love Satan". When Moe did arrive he was feeling a lot of anger towards everyone, but in Hollywood the show must always go on. This episode was to be like no other. The show was to have them all die in such a comedic way that no one would feel bad about it, but no one expected that any of them would really die. During the final scene when they are about to drive of the cliff Moe pulled out a knife and shanked Larry in the side. No one saw what happened until they realized that after the shot was done that Larry would not respond to anyone or anything. Larry was dead a whole 2 minutes before the episode was completed. After hearing the news Curly ran to a nearby cliff and threw himself off. Moe was later arrested for the murder of Larry Fine. Larry was 42 years old. Curly was 37 years old. Moe would be 89 before he was condemmed to death by electric chair. August the 13 of 1959 will never be forgotten as long as people don't die. The Three Stooges will remembered for their comedy and hopefully never for their tragedy.
